NBA Retiree, Eric Williams, throwing drink in wife, Jennifer Williams' face.
Last week after “Basketball Wives” ended people were outraged. “Did he throw a drink in her face?” we asked. This week, we see everything play out. I think some women will still say, “It doesn’t matter what she did, a man should never…” Let me stop you there. Like Eric said, “It’s a new day.”

Domestic violence in any sense is wrong. It’s even worse to provoke someone to it. Ladies use the “be a man” line to do whatever they want, and that’s not going to fly. You can’t throw a drink at a man and then be upset when he throws one back at you. It’s not about male or female, it’s about being an adult, having self-control. Jen was out of line, Eric wasn’t. Once she saw the conversation taking a turn for the worse she should’ve ended it. He got up to leave and she threw something at him, hit him with it and then he responded.

It’s a new day. You get what you put out there. Ladies, don’t provoke these men. While he probably should be able to take a punch (in general), he shouldn’t be taking one from you and you shouldn’t be testing him to see whether he can or not. Get your mind right. Like Eric said, “It’s a new day.”
